Dorit is an avid traveler—she’s been to more than 50 countries, including a year-long backpacking trip around the world with her family. For Dorit, one of the highlights of any trip are her visits to the local market. These excursions introduce her to new ingredients, spices, and methods, which she then incorporates into her cooking.

When she’s not teaching or preparing meals, Dorit is a holistic therapist and an artist. Her love for art infuses her approach to cooking. For her, the kitchen is yet another canvas where she can be creative, experiment, and have fun.

Dorit believes that cooking is easy and can be enjoyed by anyone. She believes that cooking at home creates not only fresh and healthy meals, but amazing memories.

She currently lives in Ra’anana, Israel with her husband and four kids.
